Classroom Behavior Chart
In our classroom, we have a "owl themed" behavior chart with various colors. The highest point is "Great Job," the second highest is "Good Day," the next level, and the point in which ALL students begin is "Ready to Learn." If students are demonstrating positive behavior, they move their own clothespin up. However, if they need reminders, there is a level for "Warning" and then finally, "Parent Contact." Shown below is a color code for the behaviors..
Purple=Great Job (Students have gone above and beyond expectations.)
Blue=Good Day (Students are displaying good behavior. For example, helping another student, teacher, classmate, etc.)
Green=Ready to Learn (The students are following the rules and doing exactly what is expected of them.)
Yellow=Warning (This is a warning to the students if they should break a rule.)
Red=Parent Contact (This color means the student may have broken multiple rules.)
Each day, your child will have their color documented in their agenda planner for your viewing. I ask that the parents sign agendas each day as to acknowledge both the homework that is assigned for that day, as well as their child's color. As always, if you have a question regarding the color your child was sent home on, feel free to contact me.
